Meet Our Team at Conifer House!
Enhancing your loved one’s daily experience is a team of staff who knows that each individual is unique and important. We are proud of our team members, some of which have been committed to caring for our residents for many years. Each provides experience, understanding and a caring touch.
We pride ourselves on the service and commitment that we provide to the seniors in our community. We are proud to call each other family and we look forward to meeting you and welcoming your family member to join us.
Brett Woodyard began his career as an Executive Director/Administrator in Long Term Healthcare in early 2011. Prior to this, he had immersed himself into the industry by serving as a Caregiver, Med-Tech, Cook, Maintenance Director, and all other facets of community based care. If ever asked what he loves about healthcare, his first response tends to be the honor of working with residents and their families but, more importantly, working alongside the heroes (care staff) who make lives better.
Marna has been working in Memory Care & Assisted Living communities for over 15 years. Marna loves the relationships that are built over the years with residents and staff. She appreciates the time she gets with residents to learn and grow from what they have to offer. When Marna is not working, she and her husband enjoy taking their RV out camping with their cat Buddy. Their favorite place to go is Beverly Beach.
Leann has been a registered nurse for over 18 years. Between her kind smile, gentle voice, and extensive nursing experience, she has proven herself to be an invaluable member of our team. One that our residents and staff feel comfortable referring to for their health concerns, or just to say hello. On her free time, Leann enjoys event planning, catering, and is incredibly artistic.
Community Relations Director
Amanda has worked at Conifer House for 1 year. After spending 9 months as a Life Enrichment Assistant, she was offered the position as Community Relations Director and happily accepted. When not networking and giving tours, she still enjoys spending her Saturdays with the residents. Her love for the care staff, residents, and resident family members is ever growing and fuels her hard work and dedication towards Conifer House.
Business Office Manager
Lisa has been rocking the Bookkeeping/Management industry for over 18 years. Her efficiency in mental math, in addition to her constant drive and dedication to her work, sparks inspiration amongst her staff. On her free time, Lisa enjoys making elaborate cosplay outfits for her daughters.
Resident Care Coordinator
Liz has been in the Long-Term Health Care field for over 7 years. During that time, she has gained experience as a Caregiver, Med-Tech, and now has earned the title of Residential Care Coordinator. Her long-term goal is to become a Registered Nurse. She is dedicated to providing outstanding care for our residents and is always there to offer a listening ear and some chocolate to those that need it. On her spare time, Liz enjoys walking her dogs and crocheting with Katie, our Life Enrichment Director.
Within one year, Dani has worked her way up the totem pole at Conifer House from Housekeeper, to Caregiver, to Med Aid, to Staffing Coordinator. Jack of all trades, she is always willing to go above and beyond for our team, which is why she is leading the front line in our staffing. Her bright smile and innovative staff appreciation ideas continue to make Conifer House a great place to work.
Life Enrichment Director
Katie is a mother and wife with 7 years of experience under her belt in both caregiving and activities. Her compassionate and bubbly personality makes her an amazing fit for our Life Enrichment Director. On her free time, Katie loves to crochet and spend time with friends and family. We encourage you to take a peek at our updated activity calendar under the “Life Enrichment” section of our website.
Katryn, an Oregon native, enjoys all the state has to offer-indoors and out. Katryn, a skilled baker, warms the house with smells of baked goods all year round. When you can pull Katryn out of the kitchen you will often times find her either disc golfing, at the coast, or spending time with her family. Katryn graduated from Linn Benton Culinary Arts in 2015 and because of that her knowledge with all things food makes her the best chef around!
Often referred to as the “spark plug” of Conifer House, Darcy’s love for each resident shows through her daily work. Darcy was born in Washington and has traveled all over the world before planting her roots in Oregon. Darcy began caring for seniors in 1999 and has stayed in senior care because of the inward satisfaction it brings her to care for our elderly. In her free time Darcy enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren and family.
